Controlled curing system for UV coatings
The Concept UV Curing Unit is designed for curing UV-curable paints and lacquers in the production line. The system applies UV radiation to the coating; the lamp type to be used and the operating settings are determined according to the coating material and the production process.
The unit can be configured with mercury or gallium-doped UV lamp options. The operation and power setting of each lamp can be managed independently. A reflector with a replaceable reflective surface and an air-cooled structure are components of the UV lamp operating system.
With independent lamp control and a pneumatic shutter system, the UV curing process is controlled according to the production flow.

UV Curing System
The UV Curing Unit carries out the curing process by applying radiation to UV-curable coatings. The lamp power is adjusted according to the requirements of the coating material and the production process. Being able to control each lamp independently allows the operating settings on the line to be adjusted according to process needs.
Shutter, Cooling and Maintenance
When the system stops, the pneumatic shutter engages and the lamp power is reduced to the minimum level. When production restarts, the shutter opens and the lamps rise to the set operating level. The air-cooled lamp structure works together with the cabin cooling provided from the upper middle section. The sliding lamp cassette provides access for lamp replacement and maintenance operations.
Control and Line Integration
The operation and power settings of the lamps are managed through the PLC control system. The UV Curing Unit is configured to suit a conveyor-based production flow; the lamp and control options are determined together with the coating process to be used.
